【News 1】 Earthquake in Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa on January 1st
As you may be aware by the news on the media, a strong earthquake, measuring a magnitude 7.6, struck Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1st 2024, at 16:10 (Local Time).

 

All Groups and Individuals travelling in Ishikawa Prefecture and the surroundings, handled by JTBGMT, are all confirmed as “safe without any injury” and continue their remaining journey with modifications if necessary. With the exception of limited area in Noto Area, the rest of our destination Japan is not affected by the earthquake.
 

【News 2】 Plane accident at Tokyo Haneda Airport on January 2nd

Japan Airlines Flight 516 burst into flames after a collision with a smaller coastguard aircraft on the runway at Tokyo's Haneda airport on January 2nd 2024. All 379 passengers and crew on board were evacuated and we have confirmed that no one of our customers were on board.
 

Runway C, where the accident occurred, remains closed and more than 200 domestic flights using Tokyo's Haneda Airport are canceled today (as of Jan 4). For further details, please kindly refer to website.
