10(min) Lake Chuzenji Created by an eruption of Mt. Nantai, Lake Chuzenji is a symbol of Nikko.

The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.

15(min) Lake Ashi Cruise At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji.
*The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Lake Ashi cruise operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.
50(min) Hakone Komagatake Ropeway Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi spread out below.

120(min) Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima  Lunch (meal charges not included in the tour) A World Heritage site. Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.

Atomic Bomb Dome The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.
18:00-18:30 125(min) From Hiroshima Station to Kyoto Station Take the Nozomi or Hikari Shinkansen (reserved seating) from Hiroshima Station to Kyoto Station. There is no accompanying National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter while on board the Shinkansen.

50(min) Nijo Castle A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for the Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.
45(min) Kinkaku-ji Temple A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.
40(min) [Except Mondays]   Kyoto Imperial Palace See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago.
40(min) [Mondays (and Tuesdays when Monday is a national holiday)] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine On Mondays (and Tuesdays if a national holiday falls on the preceding Monday), this tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.

60(min) Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha)/Nara Park A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great Buddha are impressive to behold.
40(min) Kasuga Taisha Shrine This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers.
20(min) Nara Nagomikan (Gift Shop) The largest souvenir shop in Nara. Enjoy yourself in this spacious shop and look for the perfect souvenir.

3. This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.
4. If the minimum number of participants is not met by 14 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.
5. The excluded days for each accommodation facility are different than the excluded days for tour operation.
6. Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus and Shinkansen seats or lunch. Also, at some hotels, a facility usage fee will be required. Please pay at the location.

[Luggage Transport Service]
Suitcases and other large pieces of luggage will be sent from hotels in Hakone on Day 7 to hotels in Kyoto separately by truck.
There will be no luggage transport to Takayama and Kanazawa (destinations partway through the tour), so please bring an overnight bag packed for 2 nights on your own from the Tokyo hotel on Day 6 to accommodation in Hakone.
*One article of standard size luggage per customer will be transported.
*As delivery is the following day, please prepare an overnight package for the 2 nights in Takayama and Kanazawa.

[Airport Shuttle Service]
Return trip shuttle service is available only for Kansai International Airport.

[About Day 2 Itinerary (Tokyo Morning Tour)]
1. The Imperial Palace itself will not be entered.
2. At Tokyo Tower, only the main deck (150 m) will be visited. An additional admission fee is required to access the top deck (250 m). Those who wish to enter must pay the required charges at the location.
3. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations. In addition, some areas for drive-by sightseeing may not be seen.
4. Transportation may be shared with the Chinese language tour.
5. The tour may be canceled due to the effects of large-scale events, etc. If canceled, customers will be notified as soon as it has been determined.
[About Day 4 Itinerary (Nikko Tour)]
1. Departure will be from the accommodation hotel in Tokyo. 
2. Heavy traffic due to colored leaves is expected every year on Irohazaka Winding Road from Oct. to early Nov. Therefore, Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji will not be visited during this period. In such cases, any of the following will be visited instead of Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji: Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls, or Tamozawa Imperial Villa.
The alternative plan outlined above may be used even outside of the designated period (Oct. - early Nov.) due to road conditions or other reasons.
3. The tour will walk up and down steps and hilly paths at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing which are comfortable to walk in.
4. An earphone guide will be provided to each participant at Nikko Toshogu Shrine. However, if there are 15 or fewer participants, earphone guides may not be used.
A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged by a participant.
5. Depending on road conditions, the tour may stop at a different parking area (rest area) instead of the Hanyu Parking Area. In this case, please note that the different rest area will not be a representation of an Edo Period town.
[About Day 6 Itinerary (Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour)]
1. Departure will be from the accommodation hotel in Tokyo.
2. If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, or weather conditions, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
3. Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
4. If the Lake Ashi cruise or Komagatake Ropeway cannot be boarded (when not visitable due to suspension of operation, road congestion, or conditions at other sightseeing areas), the tour will be guided to one of the following alternative destinations. (The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.)
Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Odawara Castle, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, Oshino Shinobi no Sato, etc.
5. On the day when the annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb is held, which is usually on a weekend in June (schedule for 2021 is yet to be determined), the Fuji Subaru Line is closed until around 14:00. The tour will proceed on this day as well.
Please note that there will be changes to the itinerary order and sightseeing locations, and the Komagatake Ropeway and Lake Ashi cruise may be changed to alternative itineraries. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.
[About Day 7-9 Itinerary (Takayama & Kanazawa)]
1. For plans that include breakfast, at the hotel in both Takayama and Kanazawa, breakfast is served buffet style, and vegetarian options are not available.
2. Please note that no stop will be made for lunch on Day 7 and Day 9 of the tour. Participants will eat lunch on board the train, so purchasing a bento box meal, etc. prior to departure is recommended (before departing from Nagoya Station on Day 7, and departing from Kanazawa Station on Day 9).
[About Day 10 Itinerary (1-Day Hiroshima & Miyajima Tour)]
1. Departure will be from the accommodation hotel in Kyoto. For departure times, please refer to the itinerary provided on the day of the tour.
2. The type of transportation (mini bus, taxi van, taxi, train or other) between Hiroshima Station and Miyajima will vary depending on the number of participants.
3. Due to repairs starting from June 2019, Itsukushima Shrine's East Corridor, Marodo Shrine Worship Hall, and part or all of the large torii gate will not be visible. (The scheduled end date for repairs is yet to be determined.)
[About Day 11 Itinerary (Kyoto & Nara Tour)]
1. Departure will be from the accommodation hotel in Kyoto. For departure times, please refer to the itinerary provided on the day of the tour.
2. The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.
  (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, year-end/New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).
3. The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on January 25 and October 25.
4. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
5. Participants will walk from the parking lot to Todai-ji Temple (about 15 min one-way).
6. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
7. Nara Nagomikan may be omitted from the itinerary if it is closed on the day of the tour, or as a result of traffic congestion.
8. During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions.
