Yunishigawa Onsen is a secluded hot spring in Nikko National Park.
It takes just one bus ride to reach World Heritage site Nikko Toshogu Shrine, so customers on this special plan can enjoy both sightseeing in the World Heritage site and a relaxing resort stay.
2. All rooms face the stream, and are built to highlight the natural beauty of the growth rings of trees, precious wood, and other materials. Each and every room is designed with its own unique charm. The hot spring baths with water flowing naturally from Yunishigawa Onsen, which has about 800 years of rich history, are located along the deep mountain stream that showcases the season's splendor.
3. Enjoy seasonal scenery in Yunishigawa Onsen.
Spring: Zashikibina Doll Festival (late Feb. - late May)
Summer: Experience the romantic Bamboo Evening Festival (early July - early Aug.), or the mysterious Aurora Show which features the highlands and sky as its background (Aug.).
Autumn: Yunishigawa is situated at a high altitude, making it home to the Kanto region's earliest emerging colored leaves. The vivid autumn leaves can be admired from all rooms and open-air baths.
Winter: Yunishigawa Onsen Kamakura Snow Hut Festival (from late Jan. until early Mar.)
Enjoy seeing the mystical scene of illuminated miniature snow huts, designated as one of Japan's Night View Inheritance sites.
