Akasaka Sacas, which opened on March 20th, is a new city bursting with culture. Located in the center of Akasaka-where many traditional Japanese restaurants, international firms and a theater are built-, it is the ideal place for music, plays, and cuisine. Sacas literally means "make it bloom" and it refers directly to the blooming culture in the area. Akasaka Sacas also has about 100 cherry blossom trees inside that bloom from March to May. Saka, on the other hand, means hill; a fitting name as there are many hills in the area.

Akasaka BizThe area consists of a TV station, a live house, a theater, a residential tower, an office tower, and more!
The AKASAKA ACT THEATER holds a diverse array of plays; from musicals to Kabuki. AKASAKA BLITZ is a live house with a 1400 person capacity.
The newly opened 180 meter high Akasaka Biz Tower stands as the centerpiece of Akasaka Sacas.
Floors B1 through 3 are used for 46 shops including Akasaka Bizvarious restaurants- featuring Japanese, Italian, Chinese, and cafes. In the middle of Akasaka Sacas, there's the 1800 square meter open space, "Sacas Hiroba" (an agora). It holds events and also hosts a TBS (TV station) program to be taped throughout the year.
