Today we would share our Tate (Sword Play) lessons with you. We believe many of you are already familiar with Japanese Samurai movies such as The Last Samurai, The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa and Zatoichi by Takeshi Kitano. The most exciting part of those movies is of course when samurai beautifully cuts down the bad guys with his Japanese sword.
Tate teaches how you can act sophisticatedly.

We have taken a lesson from one of the most popular Tate teachers and learned some basic poses and movements with holding Bokuto (wooden sword). In the end of the lesson, we pretended to be Samurai hero and played one scene where we were suddenly attacked by our opponents and successfully defeated them.
All of us really enjoyed the play because in Tate, the bad rolls have to focus on how you could be cut sharply.
In Japan, the Tate lesson is available for you.
If you have chance, please try it.
