The Ritz-CarltonThe Ritz-Carlton, a five star luxury hotel, is currently preparing for its grand opening in Tokyo on March 30.
I was fortunate enough to have the chance to visit the hotel before it opened!

The Ritz-CarltonRoppongi is the heart of Tokyo.
It is alive with a vibrancy created by the diverse people that gather here for business, shopping, dining, clubbing, and sightseeing.
As I exited the subway station, I could feel that there was something special about this area.
Even though I was surrounded by skyscrapers, there was an abundance of greenery that provided a sense of calmness and serenity.

Roppongi's newest attraction, Tokyo Midtown, is a multipurpose community that brings together business, accommodation, entertainment, and relaxation. It is the result of meticulous planning and collaboration that transformed 10 hectares in the middle of Tokyo in a way that would contribute to the region, Japan and the world.Tokyo Midtown will ideally exist as a nexus of talent and culture amidst an area of vast greenery. I found that the best way to fully Tokyo Midtown is to stay at the luxurious the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo.

The Ritz-CarltonThe Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo occupies the first three and top nine floors of the 248m high Midtown Tower. Midtown Tower is now the highest building in Tokyo and I was excited to see the view from the top. I was surrounded by mirrors as I entered an elegant elevator and before I knew it, I arrived in the lobby on the 45th floor where I was greeted by a lavish, and no doubt incredibly expensive, painting. If this doesn't impress you, wait until you see the view!

The view from the large window in front of the lobby was simply breathtaking.
Tokyo Tower, which at 332.6m is 8.6m higher than the Eiffel Tower, was striking.
From some guest rooms, you can even see Mt. Fuji!

While your eyes might be glued to the view, be sure to look down as well. Even the floor was superbly crafted. There was also a soothing stream flowing through the lobby, bringing tranquility and touch of nature.

My time at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of luxurious; the warm hospitality and open spaces were equally welcoming, as was the attention to detail in the guest rooms. Even the smallest objects are sophisticated and aesthetically appealing to the senses. Each floor is full of the aromatic fragrance of flowers. The Ritz-Carlton's history and spirit - down to its symbolic blue crown - is embodied in every detail of the hotel. And by the way, the slippers I borrowed were very fluffy!

The Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo Midtown is more than a hotel. It has a sense of classical refinement and elegance that blends seamlessly with Japanese tastes and values, offering a unique and definitive space for the 21st Century.
