Views
Ubuya is proud of its spectacular view. Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi from their guestroom, dining in the innfs restaurants, and even while relaxing in the hot spring baths. On days with no wind, Mt. Fuji can be seen reflected in the lake.
Baths
Ubuya offers a wide variety of baths for your relaxation and pleasure: indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, a sauna, and a Jacuzzi. From the indoor hot spring bath, Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawagichi can be observed from a huge glass window that covers an entire wall. After a nice hot bath, guests can also enjoy refreshing spring water from Mt. Fuji.
Dining
Ubuya serves eKaisekif courses - meals in which each dish is served one by one so that diners can fully enjoy their rich flavor - using the freshest seasonal ingredients, including seafood and fresh water fish, and local specialties.
Other Services
Ubuya is designed to be barrier-free: staircases have small steps, and banisters are installed throughout the inn. An English-speaking staff make the inn a perfect destination for guests from overseas. Usually, ryokans give guests only one yukata (Japanese summer kimono), but Ubuya provides two yukatas, one for sleeping, and one to wear during the day while inside the ryokan.
