Okinawa
Feel the exotic atmosphere of Japan
Okinawa consists of about 160 islands stretching over 400km from north to south and 1,000 km from east to west where the Pacific Ocean meets the East China Sea.
Okinawa has its own distinctive history, culture and climate compared to other parts of Japan. For many Japanese, Okinawa feels like a foreign country and taking a vacation there can be as exciting as traveling overseas.
Okinawa was chosen as the venue for Summit 2000, and visitors are drawn to its resort-style convention facilities.
Whether relaxing next to the sea as blue as the sky, enjoying world class diving, whale watching, island hopping, delicious Okinawan cuisine and drinks, or even golf, Okinawa will not let you down.
