Naoshima, an island home to both beautiful contemporary art and nature, is located 50 mins by train and 20 minutes by ferry from Okayama Station. There are two separate artistic centers on the island. "Art House Project", on the east side of the island. involves the restoration of old houses and their transformation into works of art. On the other side of the island is Gotanji, home to two museums: Chichu (Underground) Art Museum and Benesse House. Chichu Art Museum was designed by Tadao Ando, a famous Japanese architect, and is a fusion of architecture and modern art.

Participants will stay at Benesse House (Park Building), which is also designed by Tadao Ando. The accommodations provide a view of both the Seto Inland Sea and the museum's artworks. Relax in the calming sea breezes as you enjoy your visit to Naoshima.
