Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (Tokyo)
Tour departs by motorcoach at 9:00 a.m. The drive to Nikko takes about 160 minutes.
Nikko Toshogu Shrine
Marvel at the ornate architecture of this famous World Heritage site. Tour includes viewing of Yomei Gate and the Main Hall.
Lunch (for With lunch plan)
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant.
Except Tuesdays: Tamozawa Imperial Villa
This fascinating villa, which is also a National Cultural Treasure, features architecture that spans three different periods -- Edo, Meiji, and Taisho -- as well as a beautiful garden.
Tuesdays: Rinnoji Temple Treasure Hall & Shoyo-en
On Tuesdays, the Tamozawa Imperial Villa is closed, so the tour will instead visit Rinnoji Temple's Treasure Hall, which houses over 1200 years of Nikko history, and Shoyo-en, a peaceful Japanese garden.
Kegon Falls (Jan.-Mar.) or Kirifuri Falls (Apr.-Dec.)
Beautiful Kirifuri Falls and Kegon Falls are one of Nikko's three famous waterfalls.
Return to Tokyo
The tour will return to Tokyo by motorcoach. Tour disbands in Shinjuku or Ginza around 7:00 - 8:00 p.m
