Climate & Best Season to Visit.

Japan is blessed with four distinct seasons, and yet being stretched long on a north-south axis, it offers a wide variety of climates, from temperatures similar to what you would find in Britain and Germany in the northern island of Hokkaido to the sub-tropical paradise of Okinawa.
Spring (late March to early June) and fall (October and November) are the best times to visit. During these periods, the temperatures in Tokyo and Kyoto are very similar and usually hover around a comfortable 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). June is the start of the rainy season, and there is rarely a dry day until it ends in July. This is followed by typhoon season in which as many as five large storms may hit the country (though they are usually limited to certain regions.
