A) Standard and Premier TRAVEL GRANT (New Application deadline: August 10, 2009): Standard: $1,000 USD plus a free one-year (2010) IFSI membership Premier: $1,500 USD plus a free registration and a free one-year (2010) IFSI membership This grant, sponsored by IFSI and the local organizer of the workshop, will be given to a maximum of seven applicants in total. Premier is restricted to current IFSI-members. Please click here to download an application form. In order to apply for Travel Grant, you must meet all of the following three criteria: # you were born on or after 29 October, 1974. # you do not live in Japan. # you have already submitted your abstract for your ORAL presentation. NOTE: The scientific committee will review all abstracts submitted and select grant winners at the end of August. Although winners will be informed as soon as possible after the selection, the grant will not be given prior to the workshop but will be awarded to winners on site during the workshop. If you fail to show up at the workshop to give your presentation, your grant will be cancelled. B) POSTER PRIZE: $1,000 USD (No application needed) This prize, sponsored by the local organizer of the workshop, will be given to a maximum of four attendees giving a POSTER presentation of high scientific value. The winner will be announced at the banquet after the main workshop on October 27, 2009. C) HANDWERKER'S PRIZE: $2,000 USD (No application needed) This prize, sponsored by Beiersdorf AG, will be given to one attendee giving the best ORAL presentation.
