Saburo Fukagawa became the new President and CEO of JTB GMT effective on 01 April, 2009. He is striving to develop its business fields to meet the requirements of increasing visitors from overseas.
He joined JTB in 1973 and mainly handled overseas group tours. Later he was named the head of several JTB Offices in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. In 2001 he served as General Manager of Head Office Sales Dept., in 2002 as Director of JTB Corp. in 2006 as Managing Executive Officer, in 2007 as Executive Officer & Deputy HQ General Manager of Travel Marketing & Strategy Headquarters.
"The number of visitors to Japan from abroad is widely expected to increase in the mid and long term future thanks to the Visit Japan campaign developed over the past few years with strong assistance from the government as well as the growing popularity of the country.
As Japan works toward its goal of bringing 10,000,000 million visitors to the country in 2010 and 20,000,000 by 2020, JTB Global Marketing & Travel plans to help the effort to make Japan an even better travel destination by contributing to the development of local areas through increased exchange on the domestic and international level, stimulation of the travel industry, and preservation of the global environment though the promotion of eco-tourism.

With his extensive sales and marketing experience in North America
Market as well as operational expertise in major cities and ports cultivated
from more than 20 years experience, Yoshitaka Ohkuma is currently committed to
JTBGMT's New Business Developments.
Before that, he experienced sales and operations for Hospitality Programs related
to Nagano Olympics, World Cup, and some major world conferences as well as most of
the major tour operators in the US and Cruise Companies.
Before joining JTB, he spent 12 months in Australia as a Rotary Exchange student
and also, after joining the International Travel Division in JTB, he worked in New
York for 4 years (1998-2001), allowing him to have great opportunities to know
Western-business style.

Yuriko Endo is managing the Meetings and Incentives Professional
Team as well as in charge of sales and operations.
For her first six years at JTB, she handled overseas travel operations.
After working at the London Office for overseas training, she worked as an
Award Planner at JTB Motivations, Inc. for seven years. She then moved to the
International Travel Division and worked on sales and operations for overseas
Japanese companies and agency sales, and was manager of the FIT and North
America & Pan Pacific Team.

In addition to providing strong leadership as a team manager,
Haruhiko Sakano is also in charge of increasing market share in Europe.
After joining JTB in 1994, he first worked on sales and operations for
international conferences as part of the International Travel Division.
He then moved to the Agency Sales Division where he handled sales and
operations for the European and Latin American markets.
"We hope to communicate the appeal of Japan to overseas agencies by creating plans that not only
introduce all that Japan has to offer but also meet the needs of customers.
By acting as consultants and proposing new sales techniques, we hope to help
agencies increase their sales as well. I look forward to providing information
on the attractions Japan and Asia as a whole."

| Operation Manager North America & Pan Pacific Team Agency Sales Dept. |
Ikuko Sekine handles group operations for overseas agents as team
leader and also she makes full use of her experience and know-how in overseeing
operations for cruises handling and some student exchange programs.
While in the International Travel Division of the other Japanese travel agency,
she worked in sales and operations mostly handling cruises, sports events, music
events, and international conferences and exhibits for eleven years. Also, she
had work experience in the hotel industry for four years in the accommodations
and banquets sales offices.

Yukari Hagiwara currently heads sales and operations for the
international conference team. Her skills and experience allow her to oversee
entire large-scale events, including academic meetings and international
conferences and exhibitions, from initial proposals through pre-event
preparations and assistance during the event itself.
She began working as sales representative for individual customers in JTB
Offices. She later moved to the Corporate Sales Division where she gained
experience in sales and operations for conferences and events.

I will do my best to produce conferences that use the strengths of Japan to
their fullest."

In addition to acting as head of JTBGMT’s Europe Sales Office,
Keiji Osaki also engages in global company sales and offers MICE proposal held
in not only Japan but also other Asian countries.
He started out as sales representative for corporate business after joining JTB
in 1986. After a short stint at the New York Office and a period training the
travel business at Maritz, he returned to Japan to work on international travel
sales for overseas agencies and Japanese companies. His career in international
travel sales spans over thirteen years.
"I am working to develop our sales base in Europe to offer the company’s products to destinations in Japan
and Asia. Making full use of my many years of experience, I offer you attractive
