Clean Up Campaign
Based on the ideal that abundant nature and cultural heritage are important resources for travel, the JTB Group is promoting a nationwide “Tourist Destination Clean Up Campaign”.
In the hopes that visitors to Japan will experience the country’s spirit of hospitality through exchange with residents in local communities, JTBGMT has sponsored a Clean Up Campaign of Akihabara involving both visitors from abroad and members of the expatriate community. The event is coordinated through JAPANiCAN.com, and has been held annually in January since 2008.
Clean and Cool Communication @ AKIBA
Inviting the participation of JTBGMT employees, local residents, members of the expatriate community in Japan, and visitors to the country, this event is designed not just to make the area cleaner, but also to provide an opportunity for exchange among Japanese and non-Japanese participants.
JTBGMT hopes that the message of a “Clean and Cool Akihabara” will help communicate the spirit of hospitality of Japan, and stimulate the Akihabara area as well as inbound travel to Japan as a whole.

Plastic Bottle Campaign
The caps from plastic bottles are being used to help children in developing countries.
