"Japan’s Real Clothes Goes International" Sunrise Tours Offers
Ticket & Accommodation Tour Plan to "The 9th Tokyo Girls Collection"
JTB Global Marketing & Travel is joining hands with the Tokyo Girls Collection Executive Committee to arrange a ticket & accommodation tour plan in Sunrise Tours to “The 9th Tokyo Girls Collection”, a popular fashion event among young women.
"The Tokyo Girls Collection" is a fashion event that has been held once every half a year since August 2005 to promote Japan’s Real Clothes to the world. As an event that targets end users who actually buys the clothes unlike the traditional buyer-centered fashion shows, its unique marketing technique, such as conducting a show with popular models and online sales of items towards its site’s registered users, has gathered approximately 22,800 people, many of them young women.
Recognizing that Japan’s Real Clothes is a significant part of Japan’s pop culture, which is fast becoming popular world-wide in recent years, JTBGMT ties up with the event’s Executive Committee, and has arranged an official package tour (ticket & accommodation) targeted towards visitors from overseas to the Sept. 5th event.
By making the most of JTBGMT and JTB Group’s long history of relationship with travel agencies abroad, and by advertising about the tour plan and other event information on web sites towards foreign visitors to Japan, JTBGMT aims to establish this content as a new attraction for people abroad to choose Japan as a place to visit, while contributing to the event’s principle of promoting Real Clothes to the world.
